My name is Mr. Hagens and I am proud to be an SCA Eagle! I have a passion for teaching and learning, especially in Language Arts, and a love for living life to the fullest. When I’m not at school, I spend most of my time camping, fishing, playing sports, or doing anything else to be outside and with my friends. I eat as much ice cream and bacon as I can find, and I will always laugh at a good pun (just not my wife’s).
I have a Bachelors of Education specializing in Elementary, a Diploma of Christian Studies, and my Early Childhood Educator Certification. This is my first year at SCA after five years of teaching preschool at Active Kids Academy and coaching for Sportball Edmonton. I am extremely grateful to be teaching in my home school and for the privilege I have to serve the students in my class.
My prayer for this year is for each of my students to actively draw near to the Lord as they grow and develop into the people He desires. Let’s make this an amazing year!
